Veneers are custom-made tooth colored porcelain
laminates designed to cover the front portion of your
tooth and are generally recommended to improve the

appliance requiring no prepping, no injections and no
adhesives, which simply snap over natural teeth. Snap-

is an excellent option for patients looking for a non-
invasive, affordable approach to restorative and cosmetic
dentistry.
Tooth Colored Fillings and Bondings can replace
your old, silver fillings you've had since you were young.
Composite fillings match your teeth so well it will appear
that you were cavity free your whole life. Teeth dulled by
old amalgam fillings don't reflect light, and may give the
appearance of darkened, gray teeth. Your old amalgams
could also possibly be leaking, welcoming decay. Also
amalgam fillings do contain mercury.
If Dr. Andy needs to restore a decayed tooth he uses a
composite bonded filling. We no longer offer silver
amalgam fillings in our office.
The process of applying the composite filling is quite
simple. We place what is called a rubber dam over your
teeth so only the tooth we are working on is exposed.
The rubber dam prevents the removed materials, such
as the amalgam and mercury, from getting into your
mouth. Then we remove any decay and prepare the
tooth for the bonding of the filling.
Several layers of composite are applied in a
predetermined shade that matches your own. The filling
is then trimmed and polished to look like a brand new
tooth.
ClearCorrect Invisible Braces Do you have a small
imperfection in your smile? Do you often wish your teeth
were straight but don’t want the hassle of braces? Dr.
Andy can provide you with ClearCorrect, the clear and
simple choice. No brackets. No wires. Just clear,
convenient comfort. With ClearCorrect, Dr. Andy can
straighten your teeth using a series of clear, custom,
removable aligners. Each aligner moves your teeth just a
little bit at a time until you eventually get straight teeth.
Tooth Colored Crowns may be used instead of
standard porcelain fused to metal crowns. Dr Andy may
suggest cosmetic crowns to renovate your smile. A crown
is a dental restoration that covers the entire tooth and
provides the following solutions:
- Replaces a cracked or leaking filling
- Replaces a very large filling
- Restores cracked or leaking fillings
- Covers fractured or broken teeth
- Covers discolored or misshapen teeth
- Covers a dental implant
- Covers a tooth that has been treated with a root
canal
Cosmetic crowns start with a tooth colored base
instead of metal to give them a more natural look. Light
cannot pass through metal which gives a dull gray
appearance. The core materials, such as Procera or
Zirconia, allow light to pass through the tooth and do not
create a gray edge at the gumline creating a more
natural look. Also starting with a tooth colored base
means the lab does not have to block out the darkness,
